Today's question:
Hello there!
I love tiny triangle tops and bandeaus, but most I find aren't
big-boob friendly. I'm a size double-D and need support with
some coverage. What are the best on-trend bikini tops for
someone like me?
Thanks,
DD
Hello there!
We agree: tiny tops are adorable, just like itty-bitty bottoms,
but they straight up don't complement all body types. That's not
to say you can't find a minimal coverage top to flatter your
shape. If you're seeking support, many construction tricks will
help. For example, the placement of shoulder straps matter.
Avoid traditional halters, and replace them with thick, over-the-
shoulder straps that are well sewn into the back band.
1.Mamazoo Swim Julia Bustier Top
Adjustable bra sliders around the circumference of the rib cage
and on actual straps are your best friends — they offer an ideal
fit and lift regardless of your bust size.

2.Balconette Top,
Bandeaus are difficult to wear but not always off-limits —
choosing one with underwire and removal straps makes all the
difference. And if you're seeking to minimize their appearance,
bandeaus make breasts look smaller than any other top. Make
sure the cup size always sits above breast and never cuts into the
skin.
3.Bondi Born Club House Top
For an active-proof top, high-necklines and thicker fabrics with
a double bond or neoprene act like a sports bra.
4.Kacey Shana Big Sur Top
If you're not the underwire type, a thick underband is a great
alternative. The band should hug firmly and sit right below the
bust crease — never too tightly. Anything that sits higher or
cuts off above the breast crease will disfigure your beautiful
assets. If you're about the underboob trend, then go for it — but
select fabric that has enough stretch. Here's how to nail this
look .
5.Moeva Brooke One-Piece
A chic one-piece with inside shelling around the bust is another
great option. No shelling? No problem: thick textures often
provide the support you need. Keep in mind: adjustable straps
are just as important.
6.Beach Joy Nautical One-Piece
Fortunately, prints and color blocking can refine your shape.
Choose prints that aren't too busy. Vertical lines with angled
side accents amplify curves and divide the bust line and upper
tummy.
7.Luli Fama Push Up Underwire
Corset lacing provides an adjustable fit that's also super on-
trend. Find one that fits you best — It's not always about
front-lace peekaboos, as seen here. This back detailing, above, is
great for large-breasted gals.
8.Woodline Ocean Sundance Triangle Top
Triangle tops aren't always your best bet. Find one that will let
you slide the fabric along the base of the triangle — making the
most of flexible coverage. A crisscross back is a great
alternative to the traditional, over-the-neck triangle tops that
may weigh you down. Keep in mind the thicker the band, the
better support you'll get.
